Resources used to start a business during the conceptualization phase. The Development Bank System (SBD) maintains a seed capital fund for entrepreneurs who are just starting their business. A requirement is for the business to be innovation-oriented.
Projects receive assistance from the lending entity and the National Fund for Development (FONADE) and so-called business incubators, which must be registered with the SBD’s Technical Secretariat. Once they are approved to manage public funds, they can begin placing seed capital resources.
